Highlights 2-Day Event Northplatte

NorthPlatte3
Members of the board, government representatives, community leaders and others were invited to attend this two-day event.

Activities began with a private group tour of the famous Golden Spike Tower at the Bailey Rail Yards in North Platte. The tour was followed by a very special reception and dinner at Buffalo Bill’s Ranch. The dinner was a great way for supporters of Nebraska 150 from across the state to join together in this important initiative.

We Salute the Great State of Nevada on its Sesquicentennial in 2014!

Nevada150

Every Nebraskan interested in history and a grand celebration of 150 years of statehood should witness the extraordinary events currently in progress in the state of Nevada. Organizers are providing exceptional opportunities to witness history and share the pride of statehood. It is a great time to visit this beautiful state that joined the union just over two years before Nebraska was admitted in 2017.
In addition, we would like to thank and give credit to the organizers and management of the Nevada Sesquicentennial for providing significant guidance and ideas that have been very beneficial to the initial establishment of the Nebraska 150 website and our entire initiative. They have been gracious, hospitable and tremendously generous with ideas and input in supporting our efforts to plan and develop an outstanding celebration and commemoration of the 150th year of Nebraska statehood. Find out more about the wonderful opportunities in Nevada and join them for the celebration!
